Tarquin Gotch comenta sobre esta recopilación: “Cuando trabajábamos en estas bandas sonoras de películas, la mejor manera de enviar música alrededor del mundo era el casete. Le enviamos a John casetes de música recién lanzada, demos, de mezclas recién terminadas (y a cambio él enviaba videos VHS de las escenas que necesitaban música)”.
Según James Hughes: “Sirve como un recordatorio no solo para los músicos que defendió en la década de 1980, sino también para ver cuán intensamente se expandió su búsqueda de música más allá de esta época.
